Veitchii is a large plant, fairly loosely rambling and suited to a woodland situation. The white lacecap flower heads are not particularly large and never crowded, but the individual ray florets are often very large and shapely, frequently with three sepals. The September picture shows the ray florets turning over, displaying a chartreuse underside as they often do.
